ID3 is a metadata container most often used in conjunction with the MP3 audio file format. It allows information such as the title, artist, album, track number, and other information about the file to be stored in the file itself.

The attached file allows you to display id3 tag data in a text field. (you can manage ID3 tags with itunes or similar sound applications)

If you need to stop ALL sounds playing, whether they came from a loaded sound, a video, or a sound nested deep inside of a loaded .swf, this code will silence all the sounds! good for a global mute button or when switching from one page to the next (and you don’t want the sound to follow you to the next page)
